The sight of Koepka essentially breaking contract to play a competitor’s driver and golf ball less than six months after inking a deal might be cause for concern, but according to a Cleveland/Srixon rep, the manufacturer has been aware of the situation and temporarily granted Koepka the opportunity to use both pieces of gear at the U.S.

Koepka’s Titleist Pro V1x practice balls. For those who don’t know Koepka’s gear history, it’s the driver he used for his last major win at the 2019 PGA Championship. In addition to the ball, Koepka was also spotted using a TaylorMade M5 driver during a practice round. (It should be noted Thomas also plays the Pro V1x.) The conversation went back and forth on the golf ball for several minutes before the two went back to their practice routines.
